This one was taken just as we arrived on the island, which is why I look a bit pale still! This pint of Cruzcampo (not Fosters as the glass suggests) was the best beer I have had for a long time, knowing there was a whole week of holiday in front of me!

We stayed at a resort called Cala dor, on the east coast of the island. The hotel (the Ponent Playa, Cala Ferarra) was fantastic and the perfect setting to do very little in the sun for a week!

Being an island one of the things that is a must is going on a boat trip, we did 2! Here are some pictures from the first trip around the resort.

Holidays

It would be almost impossible to convey how much I enjoyed being on holiday, and also the little mini holiday we had with friends the weekend after. So instead of typing one huge post there will be a week of pictures and comments from Majorca, and a week from Bergamo in Italy...

I must also mention I sacrificed the 2 most exciting weekends of Grand Prix action to be on holiday... I didn't mind really, but next year I am going to plan things a bit more carefully...
