Exepod - Wiscombe Hill Climb.

wiscombe sept 2009 042

Announcing the first ever Exepod! It is my first attempt at podcasting, and although it is far from perfect I am actually pleased with how it turned out!

It was recorded today at Wiscombe Hill Climb, the weekend of the Five Clubs Championship. Myfriend Steve was on the hill with his Impreza, and while I was there was doing very well!

Unusually there were loads of Red Flags on the hill, the track was very slippery under the trees, and for the first time ever I saw cars turning over! Luckily no one was hurt in either incident, but is was very dramatic.

First there was this mini, The first picture taken moments before the accident.

Then this Sprite, It was hard to get a picture through the trees.

Edit: At Sarahs suggestion I have used Podbean, let me know if it works, it does not seem to be Chrome friendly for me!

Neil - I'm a total amateur when it comes to these things. Can I download it via iTunes? (if not I'm not sure how to get it to my mp3 player). Luddites 'r' us :)

Cool. Can you follow Steve around to all his hillclimbs, it will save me a lot of trouble! You sounded a bit out of breath up the hill though ;)

if you're going to make a habit of podcasts how about an Exepod account on podbean.com or something like that - just a bit more user friendly than the download link thingy you used, imo.

Excellent though, really enjoyed it!

Jackie, I am not really sure about itunes, as I don't use it I am not sure if I could upload to it, or whatever you do!

Sarah, I just used that Download site as it was the first free one I could find, I will Look up that podbean site though and see what it is about.

Jackie, on my computer it just asked me if I want to open the file with iTunes, so you should be able to download and then put it straight onto iTunes that way. Hope it works!

What a brilliant podcast! It's great to hear about hill climbing, often forgotten when talked about the vastness of Motorsport!
